Description

A quick and easy Margherita pizza made with tortillas for a fast dinner.


Ingredients

  • 1 large flour tortilla
  • 1/2 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C).
  2. Place the tortilla on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the tortilla.
  4. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  6. Remove from the oven and top with fresh basil leaves.
  7. Season with salt and pepper, then slice and serve immediately.

Notes

For a crispier base, you can lightly toast the tortilla before adding toppings.
