Description
This recipe features juicy chicken wings marinated in a flavorful Korean soy garlic sauce, then cooked to perfection in an air fryer for a crispy exterior and tender interior.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
- 2 green onions, chopped
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, honey, sesame oil, black pepper, and rice vinegar to make the marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
- Remove the chicken wings from the marinade and shake off any excess. Place them in the air fryer basket in a single layer.
- Air fry for 12 minutes, then flip the wings and air fry for another 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Remove from the air fryer and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
Notes
For extra crispiness, pat the chicken wings dry before air frying. Adjust honey for sweetness based on preference.
