- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups sliced mushrooms
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 ounces grated Monterey Jack cheese
- 8 slices bacon, cooked
- 1 cup honey mustard sauce
- Seasoning salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Season chicken breasts with seasoning salt and grill until nearly done.
- In a skillet, melt butter and sautΓ© mushrooms until tender.
- Place grilled chicken in a baking dish, top with honey mustard sauce, mushrooms, bacon, and cheese.
- Bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Serve hot with additional honey mustard if desired.
Notes
For best results, marinate the chicken in honey mustard for 30 minutes before grilling. Pairs well with fries or vegetables.
