Description

A hearty Amish-inspired casserole featuring ground beef baked with seasonal fall vegetables, perfect for a comforting family meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup sliced carrots
  • 1 cup chopped onions
  • 2 cups green beans
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked; drain excess fat.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the browned beef with diced potatoes, sliced carrots, chopped onions, and green beans.
  4. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender and the top is golden brown.
  7. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes
