Ingredients

  • 1 pre-made pie crust
  • 2 cups apple butter
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • For the whipped cream: 1 cup heavy cream, 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together apple butter, eggs, sugar, evaporated milk, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into the pre-made pie crust.
  4. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until the center is set.
  5. While the pie cools, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and cinnamon until stiff peaks form.
  6. Serve the pie topped with the cinnamon whipped cream.

Notes

Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For a deeper flavor, use homemade apple butter if available.
