A hearty autumn-inspired dish featuring sausage, pasta, and seasonal vegetables in a flavorful garlic butter sauce.

- 12 oz pasta
 - 1 lb Italian sausage, sliced
 - 2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
 - 2 cups butternut squash, cubed
 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
 - 4 tbsp butter
 - 1/2 cup chicken broth
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
 
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
 - In a large skillet, cook the sliced sausage over medium heat until browned; remove and set aside.
 - In the same skillet, add the butternut squash and Brussels sprouts; sauté for 5-7 minutes until slightly tender.
 - Add minced garlic and butter to the skillet; stir until the butter melts and garlic is fragrant.
 - Pour in chicken broth and return the sausage to the skillet; simmer for 5 minutes.
 - Toss the cooked pasta into the skillet with the sauce; mix well and season with salt and pepper.
 - Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese before serving.
 
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute sausage with plant-based alternatives.
