Description

A hearty soup that combines the flavors of a bacon cheeseburger into a comforting bowl.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 6 strips bacon, chopped
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, shredded
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the bacon over medium heat until crisp; remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, brown the ground beef with onion and garlic; drain excess fat.
  3. Add chicken broth, potatoes, and carrots; bring to a boil and simmer until vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in milk and cheese until melted and creamy.
  5. Add the cooked bacon back in, season with salt and pepper, and serve hot.
