For the Crust:
- 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1 tsp orange zest
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In a medium bowl, combine the cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until the cranberries are evenly coated.
- Pour the cranberry mixture into the prepared baking dish. Dot the top with spoonfuls of the softened cream cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
