Baked Cranberry Cream Cheese Sauce

A luscious and tangy sauce with sweet cranberries and rich cream cheese, baked to perfection. Perfect for spooning over roasted meats, pancakes, or cheesecake.

For the Crust:

  • 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the cranberries, orange juice, orange zest, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Stir until the cranberries are evenly coated.
  3. Pour the cranberry mixture into the prepared baking dish. Dot the top with spoonfuls of the softened cream cheese.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and the sauce is bubbly and slightly thickened. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can customize the seasonings to taste.
