Description

A simple and flavorful baked fish dish with a creamy lemon sauce.


Ingredients

  • 4 white fish fillets (such as cod or tilapia)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 lemons, juiced and zested
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. Season the fish fillets with salt, pepper, and half of the lemon zest.
  3. Place the fish in a baking dish and drizzle with olive oil.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  5. While the fish is baking, prepare the sauce: In a saucepan, combine the heavy cream, lemon juice, garlic, and remaining lemon zest. Simmer over medium heat for 5 minutes until thickened.
  6. Remove the fish from the oven and pour the lemon cream sauce over it.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with Greek yogurt.
