  • Author: Chef Lalybeth
  • Total Time: 5 hours
  • Yield: 12 1x

Description

A creamy cheesecake infused with ripe bananas, gooey caramel, and crunchy nuts for a decadent dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 24 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (such as pecans or walnuts)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325Β°F (163Β°C) and grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix graham cracker crumbs and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form the crust.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar until smooth. Add mashed bananas and vanilla extract, mixing well.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, beating after each addition until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter over the crust in the pan. Drizzle caramel sauce on top and swirl with a knife. Sprinkle chopped nuts over the surface.
  6. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until the center is set. Turn off the oven and let the cheesecake cool inside for 1 hour.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.

Notes

For a nut-free version, omit the nuts and add extra banana slices on top. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
