- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the mashed bananas, sour cream, and vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool completely before serving.
Notes
For extra moistness, use overripe bananas. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
