- 1 pound boneless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
- 2 tablespoons sriracha
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
- 2 cups cooked rice
Instructions
- In a bowl, toss the chicken pieces with cornstarch, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or large skillet to 375Β°F (190Β°C). Fry the chicken in batches until golden and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, and honey to make the sauce.
- Toss the fried chicken in the sauce until fully coated.
- Serve the chicken over cooked rice, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
For a spicier version, increase the sriracha. This dish pairs well with steamed vegetables.
