- 6 croissants, torn into pieces
- 2 cups mixed berries (such as strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries)
- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
- Layer the torn croissant pieces in the prepared baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together milk, eggs, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
- Pour the mixture over the croissants and let it soak for 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle the mixed berries evenly over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and set.
- Remove from oven and let cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use day-old croissants. Serve warm.
