- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each)
- 1/2 cup bourbon whiskey
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, olive oil, and minced garlic.
- Place salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Brush the bourbon mixture over the salmon fillets.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
For a smokier flavor, grill the salmon instead of baking. Pair with steamed vegetables or rice.
