Ingredients

  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 1/4 cup bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix together bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and minced garlic to make the glaze.
  3. Pat the salmon fillet dry and season with salt and pepper.
  4. Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Place the salmon in the skillet, skin side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the skin is crispy.
  6. Brush the bourbon glaze over the salmon.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
