- 1 pound salmon fillet
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400Β°F (200Β°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, smoked paprika, and minced garlic to make the glaze.
- Pat the salmon fillet dry and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Place the salmon in the skillet, skin side down, and cook for 2-3 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Brush the bourbon glaze over the salmon.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, add red pepper flakes to the glaze. Pair with steamed vegetables or rice.
