A rich and creamy chicken and mushroom skillet with asiago cheese, perfect for a comforting meal.

For the Crust:

  • 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated asiago cheese
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour in heavy cream and stir in asiago cheese until melted. Add thyme, salt, and pepper. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
