For the Crust:
- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated asiago cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Prepare the Crust:
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned, about 5-6 minutes per side. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add mushrooms and sauté until softened, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Pour in heavy cream and stir in asiago cheese until melted. Add thyme, salt, and pepper. Return chicken to the skillet and simmer for 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
