For the Crust:

  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Cook linguine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  3. Add shrimp to the skillet and cook until pink and opaque, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in cheddar cheese until melted and smooth.
  5. Return cooked shrimp to the skillet, add paprika, and season with salt and pepper. Toss to combine.
  6. Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss until evenly coated with the sauce. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
