Ingredients
Scale
- 4 thick slices of brioche bread
- 4 large eggs

- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for custard)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for topping)
Instructions
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, milk, 1/4 cup sugar, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined.

- Let it cool for a minute before serving.
Notes
For best results, use a kitchen torch for the caramelized topping. Serve with fresh berries and whipped cream.
