A spicy Jamaican-inspired salmon dish that’s full of flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 2 tbsp jerk seasoning
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400Β°F.
  2. In a small bowl, mix jerk seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, and salt.
  3. Rub the seasoning mixture evenly over the salmon fillet.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Sear the salmon for 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Transfer to the oven and bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cooked through.
  7. Serve with lime wedges.

Notes

For a milder version, reduce the cayenne pepper. Pairs well with rice and vegetables.
