Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Fold in the softened cream cheese and fresh blueberries carefully.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.

Notes

For best results, use fresh blueberries and chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking to prevent spreading.
