Ingredients

  • 1 cup active sourdough starter
  • 500g bread flour
  • 10g salt
  • 300ml water
  • 200g Brie cheese, sliced
  • 150g cranberry sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 50g unsalted butter
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary and thyme), chopped

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the sourdough starter, flour, salt, and water to form a dough. Knead for 10 minutes.
  2. Let the dough rise in a warm place for 2-4 hours until doubled in size.
  3. Preheat the oven to 220Β°C (425Β°F).
  4. Roll out the dough and score it into a pull-apart pattern.
  5. Fill the scored areas with Brie cheese and cranberry sauce.
  6. Brush the top with a mixture of melted butter, minced garlic, and chopped herbs.
  7. Bake for 30-40 minutes until golden and melty.
  8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

Best served warm; pair with wine for an enhanced flavor.
