Description

A comforting casserole combining broccoli, rice, cheese, and chicken for a hearty family meal.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 cups chopped fresh broccoli florets
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs for topping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked rice, broccoli, chicken, cream of chicken soup, cheddar cheese, milk, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle breadcrumbs evenly over the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until bubbly and golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add an extra 1/4 cup of milk if needed. This recipe can be frozen for up to 3 months.
