Description

Delicious festive cookies perfect for holidays, filled with buttery flavor and optional sprinkles.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Optional: Holiday sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. Combine flour and baking powder; gradually add to creamed mixture.
  5. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges are golden.
  7. Cool on wire racks and add sprinkles if desired.
