Description

Spicy shrimp seasoned with Cajun spices and cooked in a flavorful garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, toss the shrimp with Cajun seasoning until well coated.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sautΓ© for 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  5. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, stirring to combine.
  6. Simmer for another 2 minutes, then season with salt and pepper.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

Notes

For a spicier version, add extra cayenne pepper to the Cajun seasoning.
