- 1 can (14.75 ounces) of pink salmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/4 cup finely chopped bell pepper
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, onion, bell pepper, egg, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal patties.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a healthier option, bake the patties at 400Β°F for 15-20 minutes instead of frying. Pair with a fresh salad.
