- 1 can (14.75 ounces) of canned salmon, drained and flaked
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the flaked salmon, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until well combined, then form the mixture into patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, until golden brown and heated through.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For a healthier option, bake the patties in the oven at 375Β°F for 15-20 minutes instead of frying.
