Description

Easy no-bake holiday cookies made with Ritz crackers and caramel, perfect for Christmas treats.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 sleeve of Ritz crackers
  • 1 cup of granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup of unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup of brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cup of chocolate chips for topping

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange the Ritz crackers in a single layer.
  2. In a saucepan, combine granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  3. Once boiling, let it cook for 2-3 minutes without stirring.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Pour the caramel mixture evenly over the crackers.
  6. Bake at 350°F for 5-7 minutes or until bubbly.
  7. Remove from oven, sprinkle chocolate chips on top, and let them melt.
  8. Spread the melted chocolate evenly and let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to a week. These cookies are great for gifting during the holidays.
