Description

Fluffy and savory pancakes packed with cheese and chives, easy to prepare for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg and mix in the milk and melted butter.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the cheese and chives.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease with butter or oil.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form, about 2-3 minutes.
  6. Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes

For extra flavor, add garlic powder or herbs. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
