- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, beat the egg and mix in the milk and melted butter.
- Combine the wet and dry ingredients, then fold in the cheese and chives.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and grease with butter or oil.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form, about 2-3 minutes.
- Flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
- Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
Notes
For extra flavor, add garlic powder or herbs. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
