- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface and spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture onto the center.
- Fold the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a bit of water.
- Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Fry the egg rolls until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
