Description

A delicious fusion of creamy cheesecake filling wrapped in crispy egg roll wrappers and fried to golden perfection.


Ingredients

  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Lay an egg roll wrapper on a flat surface and spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture onto the center.
  3. Fold the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Seal the edge with a bit of water.
  4. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Fry the egg rolls until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

These are best served warm. Pair with fresh berries or a chocolate sauce for extra flavor.
