- 12 oz linguine pasta
- 1 lb sirloin steak, sliced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water and cook linguine according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- Season the steak slices with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steak for 3-4 minutes per side until cooked to desired doneness; remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic; sautΓ© for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and red pepper flakes; simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add the cooked linguine and steak to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly.
- Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the mixture and stir until melted and creamy.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
For a spicier version, increase the Cajun seasoning or add more red pepper flakes. Serve immediately for the best texture.
