Description
This hearty casserole combines ground beef, rice, and cheese for a comforting family meal.

- 1 pound ground beef
 - 2 cups cooked rice
 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
 - 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
 - 1/2 cup milk
 - 1 onion, chopped
 - 1 clove garlic, minced
 - Salt and pepper to taste
 
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
 - In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Drain excess fat.
 - Add chopped onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened.
 - Stir in the cream of mushroom soup and milk until well combined.
 - Mix in the cooked rice and half of the shredded cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
 - Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish and top with the remaining cheese.
 - Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden on top.
 
Notes
For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or use spicy cheese.
