- 2 lbs potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 lb beef chops, trimmed and cubed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat and sautΓ© onions and garlic until softened.
- Layer the sliced potatoes in a greased baking dish, then add the cubed beef chops on top.
- Pour the milk over the layers and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and shredded cheese.
- Cover the dish with foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a crispier top, broil for the last 2-3 minutes. Pairs well with steamed vegetables.
