- 2 pounds frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
- 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup milk
- 6 large eggs
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, mix together the hash browns, bacon, cheese, sour cream, milk, eggs, and onion. Season with salt and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 to 50 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a vegetarian version, substitute bacon with mushrooms or bell peppers.
