Description

A creamy and flavorful queso dip made with melted cheese, Rotel tomatoes, and ranch seasoning.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 can (10 oz) Rotel diced tomatoes and green chilies
  • 1 packet ranch seasoning mix
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • Optional: 1 cup cooked ground beef or sausage

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine the cubed Velveeta cheese and the can of Rotel tomatoes.
  2. Add the ranch seasoning mix and milk to the saucepan.
  3. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the cheese is fully melted and the mixture is smooth.
  4. Once melted, stir in the sour cream until well combined.
  5. If using, add the cooked ground beef or sausage and heat through.
  6. Serve warm with tortilla chips or vegetables.

Notes

This dip can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days; reheat gently on the stove or in the microwave. Adjust spiciness by choosing mild or hot Rotel.
