Cherry Cheesecake Egg Rolls

Description

A crispy egg roll filled with creamy cheesecake and sweet cherry pie filling.


Ingredients

  • 8 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup cherry pie filling
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  2. Lay out an egg roll wrapper and spoon about 2 tablespoons of the cream cheese mixture into the center.
  3. Top with 1 tablespoon of cherry pie filling.
  4. Fold the wrapper over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly. Seal with a bit of water.
  5. Heat oil in a deep fryer or skillet to 375Β°F (190Β°C).
  6. Fry the egg rolls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Dust with additional powdered sugar before serving for extra sweetness.
