Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9-inch cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Add cherry pie filling, oil, buttermilk, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until combined.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cake in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
