Description

Easy and flavorful chicken street tacos made with marinated grilled chicken, fresh toppings, and served in warm tortillas.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 1 cup chopped cilantro
  • Lime wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken thighs to the marinade and let sit for 15 minutes.
  3. Grill the chicken over medium heat for 6-8 minutes per side until cooked through.
  4. Let the chicken rest, then slice into thin strips.
  5. Warm the tortillas on a skillet.
  6. Assemble tacos by placing chicken in tortillas and topping with onion, cilantro, and a squeeze of lime.

Notes

For a spicier version, add jalapenos to the toppings. Serve immediately for best flavor.
