Chicken Teriyaki Noodles

Description

A quick and flavorful stir-fry dish with tender chicken, noodles, and teriyaki sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 boneless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
  • 200g egg noodles
  • 1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced chicken breasts and stir-fry until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Add the onion, garlic, bell pepper, and carrot to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Pour in the teriyaki sauce and stir to coat the chicken and vegetables evenly.
  6. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss everything together for 2 minutes until heated through.
  7. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then remove from heat and serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier version, add chili flakes or fresh chili. This dish pairs well with steamed broccoli.
