Description

This Chipotle Steak Quesadilla is a flavor-packed delight with marinated steak, melted cheese, and a spicy chipotle kick, perfect for a quick meal.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 2 tbsp chipotle adobo sauce
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1/2 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 cup sliced onions
  • 2 tbsp olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Marinate the flank steak with chipotle adobo sauce, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Cook the steak for 4-5 minutes per side until medium-rare, then let it rest and slice thinly.
  4. Assemble the quesadilla by placing sliced steak, shredded cheese, diced bell peppers, and sliced onions on one half of each tortilla.
  5. Fold the tortilla in half and cook in the skillet for 2-3 minutes per side until golden and cheese is melted.
  6. Remove from heat, cut into wedges, and serve immediately.

Notes

For a milder version, reduce the chipotle sauce; pair with guacamole for extra flavor.
