- 6 large croissants, torn into pieces
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Evenly spread the torn croissant pieces in the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the croissants.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, heavy cream, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the croissants and chocolate chips. Press down gently to ensure the croissants absorb the liquid.
- Let the mixture sit for 10-15 minutes to soak.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips. This bake is best served warm.
