Description

Soft and chewy cookies infused with fresh strawberries and dipped in rich chocolate for a delightful treat.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • For dipping: 8 ounces dark chocolate, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugars until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
  6. Fold in chopped strawberries and chocolate chips.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the sheets for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  10. Dip cooled cookies halfway into melted dark chocolate and let set on parchment paper.

Notes

Use fresh strawberries for the best flavor; store cookies in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
