- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped peanuts
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350Β°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until combined; press into the bottom of the pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and the remaining egg until smooth.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer and sprinkle with chocolate chips and peanuts.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are golden and center is gooey.
- Let cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
For a nut-free version, substitute peanuts with sunflower seeds. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
