Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix cake mix, melted butter, and 1 egg until combined; press into the bottom of the pan.
  3. In another bowl, beat cream cheese, peanut butter, powdered sugar, and the remaining egg until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cake layer and sprinkle with chocolate chips and peanuts.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes until edges are golden and center is gooey.
  6. Let cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

For a nut-free version, substitute peanuts with sunflower seeds. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
