Description

A festive wreath made of sweet cookies, perfect for holiday decorations and sharing.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Food coloring (green for wreath)
  • Sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C).
  2. In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Divide dough and tint with food coloring.
  6. Shape dough into a wreath on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
  8. Cool and decorate with sprinkles.

Notes

Ensure cookies are fully cooled before decorating to prevent colors from running.
