  • Author: Chef Lalybeth

Description

A comforting and hearty casserole, classic for potlucks and family dinners, featuring ground beef, vegetables, and tater tots.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Crust:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 small yellow onion, diced
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.5 oz) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup frozen corn
  • 1 cup frozen green beans
  • 1 (32 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

1. Prepare the Crust:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef with the diced onion until the beef is cooked through and the onion is soft. Drain any excess grease.
  3. Stir in the cream of mushroom soup, cream of chicken soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined. Fold in the frozen corn and green beans.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it into an even layer.
  5. Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the beef mixture.
  6. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly over the top and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and the tater tots are golden brown.
