Description

Easy dessert recipe combining the flavors of churros and cheesecake into delicious cookies.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 large egg
  • For coating: 1/2 cup cinnamon sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Add butter and egg to the cream cheese mixture and mix well.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and stir until combined.
  6. Scoop dough into balls and roll in cinnamon sugar.
  7. Place on baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden.
  8. Cool on a wire rack before serving.

These cookies are best enjoyed fresh and can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
