- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter and cream cheese until smooth.
- Add the granulated sugar and brown sugar to the mixture and beat until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ground cinnamon, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
- Cover the dough and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared sheets, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add an extra 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
