Description

A timeless appetizer featuring hard-boiled eggs mixed with creamy mayonnaise and tangy mustard.


Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place eggs in a saucepan and cover with water. Bring to a boil, then remove from heat and let sit for 12 minutes.
  2. Drain and cool eggs under cold water, then peel and halve lengthwise.
  3. Remove yolks and mash them in a bowl.
  4. Mix mashed yolks with mayonnaise, mustard, vinegar, salt, and pepper.
  5. Spoon the mixture back into the egg whites and sprinkle with paprika.

Notes

For a spicier version, add a dash of hot sauce.
