- For the frosting: 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and grease an 8×8 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, instant coffee granules, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix the melted butter and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, stirring until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan.
- For the frosting: In a bowl, beat the softened butter until creamy.
- Add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, dissolved coffee, and milk, then beat until smooth and spreadable.
- Spread the frosting evenly over the cooled brownies.
- Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
These brownies are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days. For a stronger coffee flavor, increase the instant coffee to 2 tablespoons.
