- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups crushed Oreo cookies
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- Optional: Blue food coloring for a 'Cookie Monster' look
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs, one at a time.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the crushed Oreo cookies and white chocolate chips.
- If desired, add a few drops of blue food coloring to the dough and mix until evenly colored.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
These cookies are best enjoyed fresh, but can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days. For a fun twist, add some blue sprinkles!
