Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup crushed cotton candy (about 4 ounces)
  • Food coloring (pink and blue, as desired)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375Β°F (190Β°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  3. In a large bowl, cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in the crushed cotton candy and add food coloring to achieve a vibrant hue.
  7. Drop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
